How to Use and Install Warhammer Online Addons

Warhammer Online addons and macros are advanced features of the game that are used to enhance a player’s game play. There are many different types of addons and macros available and can be created.

warhammer online addons is a great feature that was developed to enhance a player’s usability. With addons and mods they can customize their entire interface just the way they like it. It can even add additional features that EA Mythic did not create. A player can customize their user interface to their own preference.

warhammer online addons are often mistaken as hacks and cheats but they are actually not. They are actually fully supported by the publishers. EA Mythic created an API system which allows for players to build addons. A player with some knowledge of programming can easily create their own addon and customize all of their user interface as well as other parts of the game. Even without any knowledge of the API or programming, a player can still easily take advantage of addons already created and use them like they were their own.

To install an addon you’ve downloaded, all you simply need to do is navigate to your Warhammer folder which by default is located at C:\program files\Electronic Arts\Warhammer. Once there you may need to create an interface folder followed by an Addons folder inside the interface folder. If these directories are already created then you do not need to worry. The addon files you’ve downloaded are usually in a zip or rar format. If this is the case, you’ll need to download Winzip or Winrar to extract the original files. Once that is done, just copy your addon you’ve downloaded into your addons folder.

Once you start the game your addons will be active. Beware when downloading an addon that requires you to run the file. There is never an addon in .exe format. These are usually viruses and Trojans used to steal your Warhammer Online account and password. Also note that some addons may be out of date due patches released by EA Mythic. Always make sure you have the most up to date version of the addon you are using. Another thing to remember is that some addons may have special slash commands that can be used in the game chat interface. You will need to refer to the manual of your addon for more information.

There are over thousands of addons already created that players can use. Some popular ones are map mods. You can find locations of mobs, items, a loot table, quest locations, NPCs and much more. Auctioneer is also another popular addon which records and analyzes data from the auction house. It keeps track of every item sold in, the price it went for, the average price, the minimum price, the maximum price and much more. There are also many great mods to help RvR and PvE battles.

Damage meters are great to help measure the amount of threat generated on a mob. This helps keeps aggro on the tank. Every player is required to synchronize their meter together in order to determine how much threat is being generated and passed around. Healers and high damage dealers will need to watch this meter to make sure they do not pass the tanks threat towards a mob.

There are also many small Warhammer addons that can be extremely helpful. Some addons may tell you when your morale bar is full and ready to be used or when an ability becomes available after a cool down. Some addons even gives you a signal or notifies you that your health bar is low or your action bar is low so that you can take action to run, heal or whatever you think may be best for your situation.

If you have been playing the game for over 2 weeks and yet still have not installed an addon then you are simply missing out on cool features that will make your life easier. From over thousands of addons and mods to choose from, I’m sure there is at least 5 that will suit you and improve your game play.

Benefits of a Warhammer Online Wiki

A warhammer online wiki is a great source to collaborate information on the popular MMORPG Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Every visitor can share their wealth of knowledge making it a centralized location of information.

Wikis are great sites to collaborate information, even for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. There is a ton of information in the world of Warhammer Online; over 20 different scenarios, four thousand quests, thousands of items, NPCs and much more. A War wiki is a great place to centralize that information and build a great informative community to help other players. The wiki relies heavily on the Warhammer Online community to develop its growth and accuracy of information.

Every person who visits a warhammer Online wiki has access to edit, delete and contribute information to improve the content. It is a forever growing entity that continues to be developed by the owners and visitors. Every edit is logged in case of abuse or the previous edit was better and can be reverted. You can see as each page develops and the entire history of how it evolved. Volunteers and staff are required to monitor all the information inputted from the community to assure it meets guidelines and are of quality and not just spam.

If you’re unable to find the information you’re looking for at the time you visit, you can always check back at a later time or if you found what you’re looking you can always share it on the wiki. There is a discussion page on each content page which acts as a forum. You can request for updates, information, add comments or just chat away. You can find direct help from other members as you would on a forum.

We all know how popular Wikipedia is. They are the world’s largest encyclopedia. Their information is great but there are certain topics which are not covered in depth. With a game like Warhammer Online, their world is huge and forever changing. Patches are released approximately twice a month with new content and changes to the current environment. Without the help of a large community it does become difficult for a wiki to have the most updated information unless they have a large amount of volunteer writers or staffs who contributes to that information as well.

Wikis have their own built in search engine for you to find the information you need but like most things in life, it is never perfect. Broadening your search term or using different spelling variations may help with what you’re looking for. For example, instead of searching for “beginning quests for Chosen” you can instead search for “quests” and see what links become available to you. Wiki engine uses a rather different engine and many people may have trouble finding the information they’re looking for even if it is available. An alternative is using the most popular search engine Google as a medium. You can search the specific site followed by the information you’re looking for. An example would be “site:domain beginning quests for Sorcerer”.

Down to the core, wikis are a great place to find and exchange information. With a great team behind the wiki would be a good start but with a large community helping it can be the best source of information for Warhammer Online. If you find something useful in a wiki then give a little back to the community who gave you that information. Become a “good internet citizen” and share your wealth of knowledge. You will be recognized in the community and will receive great respect and help when needed.

Introduction to Warhammer Tradeskills

Warhammer Online is set to release on the 18th of September will have be retaining a very similar tradeskill profession such as the older massively multiplayer online role playing games. In World of Warcraft, gathering professions were first introduced but now Warhammer now currently has more gathering tradeskills than crafting. There are currently 4 gathering skills and only 2 crafting skills. The 4 gathering skill consists of cultivating, magical salvaging, butchering and scavenging. The 2 crafting profession currently available is apothecary and talisman making.

The cultivating warhammer tradskill allows the player to grow their own weeds and fungi which are used by the apothecary for ingredients. Cultivating requires seeds and spores that can be otained from monsters, scavenging and from most merchants in cities and towns. A pot is needed as well obviously. To get better results from cultivating, you can add soil, water and nutrients. The better you treat your plant, the better your plant will treat you.

The magical salvaging war tradeskill is the ability to break magical items into small magical fragments. These magical items can be obtained from PvE, RvR, quests and variety of other places. When salvaging an item, you can choose the type of stats to extract from that item. Along with the fragments you will also get what is known as essences. Both fragments and essences are used to make Talismans.

The last 2 gathering trade skills in WAR is butchering and scavenging. They are very similar in many ways, both skills are used to gather resources from a dead mob that has already been completely looted. Butchering is used on non-sentient mobs while scavenging for the more socially active mob, in another words, beast or humanoids.

The apothecary trade skill uses ingredients found through cultivating and can turn them into potions, powders or lotions. It would be wise to be able to pair your characters or friends with different professions to gain the maximum benefits off each profession. There are many different type of potions and can provide various abilities. Some can add very low stats but have long durations while another of the equivalent level have higher stats but shorter duration.

The talisman making profession hasn’t been fully released yet but it allows you to create talismans. Talismans are known as the minor items of power which can be attacked to certain armors, weapons and grants permanent bonuses to that item. Only rate and powerful items are able to have talismans placed onto them. To create a talisman, you will need a contain along with the magical fragments and essences received from a player with the magical salvaging profession.

Every profession will yield its benefits. Gathering professions are better during the beginning of the game since you do not have any resources to craft nor yet may want to spend that gold to level up your crafting. A gathering profession can definitely reap its reward early. The crafting skill may be what you prefer mid to end game when you have all the resources at your hand. Whichever profession you should decide to go with, it’s always best to pick one up early on the game. You can learn these trade skills from a trainer as early as the second Chapter of each faction.

Warhammer Online Age of Reckoning: Will it be the King of the Mo

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning or WAR is coming up soon, slated for a simultaneous release for North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand on September 18 2008 the game revolves around conflict that the Warhammer Fantasy setting is known for, the game seems to be geared toward ongoing, and constant war. The real question however is will WAR take home the gold or will it be a game better left on the shelf?

Will WAR be hold the gold crown and beat out the other fantasy based massively multiplayer online role playing games, including the one that is currently on the top right now, and that closely resembles it’s self, which is of course World of Warcraft. The two games are based on the strategy game fantasy background that spawned them; there are also certain similarities that the two online games share, like graphics for instance. They both share a look and feel of animated fantasy realm, though warhammer online seems to have a darker and less cartoonish touch, you’d still have to be blind not to notice the similarities between the two massively multiplayer online role playing games. There are also several other similarities between the two such as separate factions of races, quests, PVE, PVP, RVR and the. All of these things are great and influential in making World of Warcraft an excellent and also very popular game but how does it fair for WAR? Will the end result be the same

Warhammer online will make its mark for itself it seems in player vs. player, other fantasy MMOs have pvp in it but not as greatly woven into the fabric of their own games as warhammer online. In Warhammer the entire world is the battlefield you battle against the other realm for different goals. You do have something to lose in PvP like losing your main city to the enemy what about losing actual territory such as Keeps (castles) that were held by your guild? The biggest incentive to being good at player vs player is that if you keep losing you won’t be getting any victory points, more land, better skills and cooler looking characters. If you are good by the end of the week you could have a statue erected in your avatars likeness to honor you.

If you are into the violent and completive nature of a war macros fantasy then Warhammer online maybe your game, there isn’t an online game like this. You are required to bring out your inner rage, increase your response time, clicking action, competitiveness and master the usage of You won’t even be able to advance without the true spirit of a warrior, but is that enough to throw the king off the gold MMO thrown? You only have a month to wait and then you can find out.

What makes Warhammer Online so unique compared to majority of the other MMORPGs is the Realm vs. Realm battles that not available in any other game other than Dark Age of Camelot which is also created by the makers of Warhammer Online, Mythic Entertainment which is now known as EA games. A player chooses between two opposing factions that will face off against each other in castle sieges, open plain battles, group battles, "zerg" fights of over a 100 players at a time. A strong leader(s) is required to lead troops of hundreds of players into battle for one goal. To overthrow the opposing side. No other game has offered what Dark Age of Camelot and Warhammer is able to provide.

Warhammer Online Collector's Edition Out of Stock

That's right folks, EA Mythics new game Warhammer Online Gold has sizzled out of the stores in EB Games and Gamestop. EA has only released approximately 60,000 copies of Warhammer Collector's Edition. That means only about 60 thousand open beta accounts were given to those who has preordered.

In addition to access to open beta, those who have preordered are also in the headstart program. Yes be one of the very first to access War Gold rvr system before the new recruits come in. You will also receive some gifts from Mythic as well which includes some pve items and a neat ability to rejuvenate yourself.

For those who has missed their opportunity to preorder you can alternatively visit craigslist.org or ebay and hope someone has extras or decided to not play. I've found a few available for sale on ebay for close to $100. If you're a true gamer and haven't preordered, hurry in now before the prices on it goes even higher. Rumor has it that open beta should begin late September to Early October and the final release date sometime be around late October to November.

Age of Conan Review

Age of Conan (AoC) is a barbaric fantasy-themed MMORPG developed by Funcom. The game brings players to experience live violent from the Hyborian Age, a fantasy setting created by Robert E. Howard. Amidst the chaotic blood-bath surroundings, players can buy aoc cdkey right now from funcom.

There is a civilized system of commerce and currency.Players in Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures bargain for goods and services using pieces of gold, silver, copper and tin as their median of trade. As players struggle to become the legend of the Hyborian Age, the wealth in gold is not a factor to be neglected.

Even though the Hyborian Age is the age of chaos and disorder. Players still cannot obtain everything they want through a mindless slaughtering alone. This is where Age of Conan gold comes to its part. Four types of currency are used in Age of Conan gold, silver, copper, and tin. A hundred units of the lesser currency are added up to one unit of the higher type.

Players spend AoC gold as a median of trade to purchase their desired pieces of weapons and equipment or necessary hunting supplies. They can earn AoC gold through various options from fulfilling NPC or perhaps other player requests to hunting a careless adventurer for valuables. With some good amount of Age of Conan gold as a starting fund players can pick up a trade skill and combine useless raw materials into something other players want to pay for. They then, sell these products directly to other players in exchange of AoC gold or place them on the tradeposts and wait until they are sold.

Age of Conan players are always in need of gold to purchase better pieces of equipment. Most people who can afford spending their time in game can try and earn gold by themselves while the rest seek to buy AoC gold over the internet. Although Funcom will do anything to prevent gold sellers from obtaining and distributing precious AoC gold to these deep-pocket players.

New WoW Vanity Pet - Captured Firefly

I just found an awesome new WoW Gold vanity pet that seems to have been included with Patch 2.1 - the Captured Firefly.

This is a great new vanity pet that follows along the lines of the various rare-drop pets such as the Tiny Emerald Whelpling, Tiny Crimson Whelpling, Dark Whelpling and that perrenial charmer, the Disgusting Oozeling. All of these pets are worth extremely good gold on the auction house (anywhere from 50 gold to 300 gold). But the downside to them is that they are also all profoundly difficult to farm due to their amazingly low drop rates.

But players love them, and that’s why they are willing to drop such serious gold to have them. So you can imagine that as word gets around about these new Captured Firefly pets, WoW players with more gold than time will be pretty excited when they find these on the auction house.

The Captured Fireflys drop from the Bogflare Needlers located in north-central Zangarmarsh. Expect to put some serious time into grinding these because they’re drop rate is less than 0.05%.

But despite the dismally low drop rate, you can expect some extremely sweet rewards. Allakhazam is already advising to list these on the auction house at 500 gold, but I don’t think it would be unreasonable at this point to list them at 750 gold or even 1,000 gold depending on your realm and faction. After all, they really only began to show up less than a month ago.
